"Time = life; therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life." Alan Lakein

Over the last week or more so my class has been learning about time management. In my last blog post I talked about how important it can be. If your going into college about your horrible about managing your time you better start practicing on managing it because it is pretty much one of the keys to being a strong student. So for my Inquiry Interview Video Assignment I will be facing the topic of time management. As I went and selected the people to interview I went for a wide variety not just a student who lived on campus. I want more perspectives on how over people manage their time. I chose a typical first year student who lives on campus and doesn’t have and distraction like a job or such else. So I know many can relate to her but then I went to choosing someone who is a senior that’s works plays rugby and yet still has time for his self. I feel like people think that they have so much on their plate that they cant make perfect amount of time to get their homework in. you need to have their priorities straight. The typical question is will be asking will be like:
  • ·      What is your day typically like?
  • ·      How many hours a week do you spend on schoolwork outside of class?
  • ·      What do you find yourself doing more of throughout the day?
  • ·      (For the Athlete, commuter, and staff member) do you find it challenging to manage your time with playing a sport / working / commuting and school?

I want to bring out what kind of person each person is with my questions on how busy some lives can be and show that they manage their time just as much as the students who live on campus that have different priorities. This I think also helped me to and realized that I can go back to work when the Hamden edge opens and still that well-rounded student if I can manage my time right.
