“You live longer once you realize that any time spent being unhappy is wasted.” Ruth E. Renkl

As a little girl I can say I have always been taught the key way to be successful in life is working hard. As I grew up I did work hard, but I also spent time trying to find shortcuts into learning something instead of learning it how It was suppose to be taught. For instances with math I was always head trying to figure out easier ways of learning a problem and doing that problem, took time but I always got ahead. High school I can say was always the easy way out of doing something. I liked to spend less time on stuff then thoroughly going through everything the right way. In the article “Work Hard or Work Smart” written by Tom Weber the key points I took note and learned were
  • ·      Work both hard and smart
  • ·      Observe and evaluate the situation, a good hard look at what you are working with where are you in relations to your goals and what would take hit those
  • ·      By working smart you have to make sure you have a plan
  • ·      By working hard you have to make sure you are working hard on that plan
From the transitioning to high school into college I can say I have made sure I have been on top of all my work. I bought myself a planner at the southern student enter bookstore, I write down all my work / homework my teachers given me on my syballas. Since my class schedule I free Fridays I try to do my work on Mondays and Wednesday after classes around 6 till 11 , Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 till 11 and hopefully have the weekends free to relax or even at that use up my whole Sunday to do extra work. “Work smart, Work Hard & live strong.”
