Just Open Up A Book...

The visit in library was very informative. With the first week of school I went to library a lot, not knowing what was around me. The appearance of the library is beautiful, it is very cozy they had nice couches just very comfortable and cozy to relax and focus. It grabs my attention and had me comfortable. I knew about the appearance but didn’t know about the true dynamics of library. Until our visit with my INQ class I sought it out to be huge, with a lot of books. Wendy taught us how to use the Southern Connecticut library. Wendy was very upbeat and very friendly and willing to help. I wish this website was more easier to use like I kept getting confused when Wendy was telling us where to go I just couldn’t keep up. The database did seem difficult until we got into learning about it. But that’s why I am happy we did have this lesson in this class because now learning it, it is way easier. With searching the books, to searching up articles. I think its cool how the data base automatically sites it; I am very horrible at trying to site things. So for it to be right there and ready was very helpful. Another thing I liked is how they have a selective librarian for your major so if you did need their help they are right their knowing. Like in high school our library was small and our librarians were not really informative I say the computer did most of the work. Sothern’s librarians are helpful and have almost everything you need. Perfect place to go to focus and study and get work done in between classes.
